Supplies individuals and families with a turkey and assorted ingredients for a holiday meal. Families may only sign up at one pantry in Ocean County for a turkey.

Provides 3 months back rent; and three months future rent to those with immanent danger of becoming homeless due to court order or eviction. Program is available for the currently homeless who are seeking housing assistance. In addition to those who are fleeing an active domestic violence situation.

Provides an annual scholarship program for graduating New Jersey high school seniors who have epilepsy. Recipients are able to use the funds as needed to help them with their educational expenses. Scholarship award amounts vary by year, but will be approximately $1000.

Resolves and addresses complaints from any source and prioritizes the health, safety, welfare, and civil and human rights of elderly residents in nursing homes and long-term care facilities. Also facilitates referrals to other agencies or senior service programs, particularly focusing on issues such as financial exploitation and inappropriate use of restraints. In cases where the office cannot resolve a problem, referrals will be made to an appropriate agency.

Hosts support groups for families to share, problem-solve, and receive information on relevant topics.

Additionally, offers a cooling program with fan and air conditioner distribution/installation, subject to availability and requiring a physician's letter of medical necessity.

The office offers counseling about eligibility for VA benefits and how to apply, information about VA health care and memorial benefits, outreach to veterans, including those who are homeless or at risk for homelessness and older, minority, and women veterans, public affairs.
