Recruits, trains, and places members in intensive service learning opportunities at non-profits and schools throughout Middlesex County. Learning opportunities include: help with disaster services, economic opportunity, education, environment stewardship, healthy futures, and veterans and military families. Members may earn up to $5,550 educational stipends and a living allowance in return for their commitment and service.
Offers comprehensive training in several subjects, Adult Basic Skills education classes, and GED classes. Additionally, it is a designated One Stop Center where individuals can conduct job searches utilizing the computer lab and resource center.

Provides comprehensive health promotion and wellness activities that support individuals, families, and the community in improving physical, mental, and social well‑being through education, fitness, and chronic disease prevention programs. Activities include: basketball, exercise classes, strength training, weight lifting, running track, Nautilus Center, steam, saunas, and whirlpools.
Offers workshops to community professionals including schools, non-profits, and families on current topics related to youth and families. These events are offered several times during the year with nominal cost to the participants.
Delivers nutrition and breastfeeding education, nutritious foods, and enhanced access to regular health care and social services for low and moderate-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as young children with or at risk of nutrition-related health problems. The service actively promotes and supports exclusive breastfeeding, conducts health and nutrition screenings, facilitates referrals to necessary health care and community services, and offers personalized nutrition/health counseling through individual and peer/group sessions. Additionally, the program issues food vouchers containing essential nutrients to supplement deficient or lacking diets.
Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect and, if necessary, arranges for the child's protection and the family's treatment. Services include: child protection, case management, foster care, adoption, and family supports and services through community providers.

Provides a federally qualified health center (FQHC) with a full-time dental program serving children and adults. Services include preventive exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, dentures, and extractions.
Offers a program that places volunteers in homes of families in need of support mechanisms. Senior volunteers are placed in the homes of referred families to assist and aid with child rearing. Services available through the program include family and individual counselling, companionship, and hands-on training.
Connects wounded service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers to services at national, state, and local levels. Topics include: benefits, education, employment, health, and housing. Services assist in recovery, rehabilitation, and community reintegration.
Provides basic in-town transportation for senior citizens age 62 and older. Seniors must be able to step into and out of the van.
Provides permanent supportive housing for youth and parenting youth, ages 18 to 21, who are at risk of homelessness and are currently, or were previously, involved with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency. Provides support services that aim to enhance life skills, education, employment, community supports, and stability.
Provides consultation in obtaining or dropping a restraining order. Also includes information on court procedures, and accompaniment for a client through the court process in the Freehold Family Court.
Operates a complaint line for reporting civil rights violations in health care and social services based on race, national origin, disability, or age. Specialists investigate and refer cases outside their jurisdiction. Free complaint forms and fact sheets are available. Covers hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, Medicaid/Medicare, welfare programs, daycares, doctors' offices, pharmacies, children's health programs, addiction centers, adoption agencies, and mental health services.
