Offers a faith-based program that provides listening, companionship, and prayer to individuals needing support and encouragement during a difficult time. Caregivers can be requested during situations such as, loss of a loved one, illness, divorce, spiritual crisis, childbirth, and life transitions.

Provides services to youth who have had court involvement. Youth are assigned a Juvenile Case Manager, who connects them with school, counseling, substance abuse treatment and employment, depending on individual needs. The goal of a Juvenile Case Manager is to provide assistance, support and advocacy to help youth reduce the risk of violating a court order and/or being placed in juvenile detention.  

Operates an Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) for individuals convicted of a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) or DWI (Driving While Intoxicated). Offenders must attend a court-mandated 12-hour DWI Offenders program which serves as an alternative to jail. Resources include: drug and alcohol education, evaluation, treatment referral, and monitoring.

Provide wrap-around resources and supports to families, strengthening them and their communities. Staff serve as advocates, connecting families to various resources. Services include access to health services, parent education, employment services, life skills development, housing services, advocacy, and community resource referrals. Participate in a 10-week parenting class to explore new ideas, share experiences, and engage in supportive group activities. This is one of our most popular programs.       

Hosts an online directory of local chapters that offer supportive services for Vietnam veterans.

Provides permanent housing for women who have exited the criminal justice system, are homeless, and have a disability. Women in the program receive case management/supportive services while in the program. Does not provide emergency housing.   

Provides assistance with applying for health coverage. Trained and certified staff members can help individual consumers understand health coverage options, complete eligibility forms, and enroll in a plan through the health insurance marketplace. The NJ FamilyCare Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is also available to those who qualify.

Offers a community-based, family-centered neighborhood hub providing support, information, and services. Core services comprise of information on child, maternal, and family health services. Provides housing-related services, parent education and parent-child activities, and advocating for community members.

Provides a free, intensive, structured training program for treating and managing diabetes. Classes, held once per week for six weeks, focus on managing lifestyle behaviors and emotional well-being. Facilitated by trained leaders, potentially peer leaders with diabetes, the participative classes build mutual support and success, boosting participants' confidence in health management. Each participant receives the companion book "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions, 4th Edition," and an audio relaxation tape

Provides ongoing care management services for residents with disabilities, ages 18 through 64 years of age. Services include advocate on the client's behalf and promote self-advocacy, assist with assessing the needs of consumer, connection to financial benefits programs, home health care, housing, meals on wheels, offer peer support, provide funding for adaptive, transportation equipment and home modifications. 

Assists low-income households in managing energy costs and maintaining safe, affordable utility service through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Universal Service Fund (USF).

LIHEAP Overview

Assists with heating and medically necessary cooling costs during designated program periods. Provides regular seasonal benefits and may offer emergency assistance for households facing shut-off or fuel shortages. Payments are typically made directly to the utility company or fuel supplier, ensuring continuity of service. Available to both homeowners and renters who meet income and residency requirements.

USF Overview

Offers monthly credits on electric and/or gas bills to reduce ongoing energy costs. Designed for households that spend a significant portion of their income on energy. Helps prevent service interruptions and promotes long-term affordability.

Provides virtual support groups designed to help families with children and teens who have behavioral issues. Works with both parents and youth to provide support and guidance, improve communication, promote routine and cooperation, and preserve family structure. Meetings are run by volunteers and are held via Zoom.

Provides assistance with custody and visitation disputes, as well as peer mediation within the Cape May school system. Services include: conciliation, conflict coaching, facilitation, and mediation. Services are offered remotely by phone or video conference, or in-person.

On-site resources include public computers, internet access, a career resource room, and interview spaces.
