In addition, the shelter provides vaccines, accepts surrendered animals, assists with lost and found animals, and provides animal adoption services. All adopted animals come spayed/neutered and with all their required vaccines. 

Offers emergency shelter services for Essex County residents with NJ State identification; those without ID, must seek assistance from the Board of Social Services for referrals. Additionally, provides transitional housing solutions for LGBTQ individuals facing homelessness, offering educational and financial responsibility resources, along with wrap-around services in substance abuse and mental health counseling, and drug testing.
