Services include: medical exams, clinic referrals, medication management, mental health and behavioral support, case management, counseling, education, employment assistance, insurance benefit assistance, Veterans Administration (VA) registration, and public affairs and homeless outreach.

Summer intensive programs place volunteers at non-profit organizations over two 4-week sessions. Weekend projects take place throughout the year. Transportation is provided to and from volunteer sites.  

Provides a short-term crisis intervention service for adults experiencing a psychiatric crisis that diverts them from hospital emergency departments and crisis screenings to immediately accessible intervention. Services include short-term counseling, medication treatment and case management, for a duration of up to 30 days. The goal is to help individuals return to pre-crisis functioning.   

Connects individuals diagnosed with a mental illness to mental health services. Services include: partial care, supported employment, supportive housing, and homeless outreach services.

Provides summer camp programs to families in Bergen County. For Children ages 5 - 12 years old. 

Administers a utility assistance program offering a $225 annual benefit to eligible individuals under PAAD or receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI), covering both utility customers and tenants with utility bills included in rent. Lifeline encompasses three programs: the Lifeline Credit Program, providing a $225 credit on electric and gas bills; the Tenants Lifeline Assistance Program, offering a $225 check to qualifying tenants; and the Special Utility Supplement, providing up to $18.75 monthly to SSI recipients. 

Helps military service members and their families access supportive services that are available in their local community. The centers offer clients information, referrals, and direct assistance with: Family assistance services, Transition assistance advisor, Military family life consultant, Psychological health providers, and Military OneSource.     

Provides emergency food assistance through a food pantry for local residents experiencing food insecurity. Offers holiday meal baskets, including a frozen turkey, for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Providing a full spectrum of mental health services, the Outpatient Department offers Solution Focused Brief Therapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication monitoring, group therapy, and case management for adults, teens, and children. Treatment services are delivered by a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, addiction counselors, and nurses.

Offers prepared meals that just need to be reheated, along with canned goods and fresh fruits and vegetables. Goods are supplied by local restaurants and soup kitchens.

Provides a permanent supportive housing program for homeless families with children. Aims to help families where at least one member has a disability. Seeks to help homeless families stabilize their housing situation in the community. Each family is assigned a caseworker for intake to determine needs in a host of areas, including employment, housing, and mental-health or substance-abuse counseling.  

Offers to create a safety net for those families and individuals who exhausted their five-year time limit on welfare and do not meet the criteria for an exemption to the time limit. Work First New Jersey [WFNJ].

Provides a 24/7 hotline, shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, legal education, courts advocacy, parenting workshops, support groups, and trainings for domestic violence victims. Services are confidential.
