Specialized Health Services offers a wide variety of specialized health clinics and centers providing information and general medical care for individual use. Services include. but are not limited to: Operating a public information and outreach campaign for the Arthritis Center to educate consumers, providing preventive and restorative dental treatment at the Dental Clinic. Offering outpatient medical care with subspecialties like diagnostic colonoscopy, gastroenterology, hemodialysis, laboratory services, mammography, ophthalmologic services, pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, prenatal services for high-risk pregnancies, and radiology.

Provides a free, non-emergency medical practice catering to uninsured/low-income individuals and families in Ocean County, providing services such as bi-monthly eye screenings, chronic disease management, diagnostic testing, health education, hypertension clinic, physicals, prescription assistance, primary care, social service referrals, and some vaccines.

Empowers blind or visually impaired residents aged 55 and above to maintain independence through services such as outreach, case management, information, and referral. Provides vision screening, examinations by an ophthalmologist, orientation on vision aids and devices, distribution of aids, mobility training, home instruction in personal care, and activities of daily living.  

Delivers care and outpatient services as a full acute care hospital. Services include: a 24-hour emergency center, a mobile intensive-care unit, cardiac care and testing, physical and occupational therapy, speech and hearing services, diabetic counseling, laboratory and pathology services, imaging (MRI, CAT scan, mammography), neuropathy treatment, weight loss surgery, social services, ear-nose-throat, neurology, orthopedic, urology, and ophthalmic services.

Provides medical examination services available for seniors including blood tests, blood pressure, urinalysis, colorectal testing, visual and hearing checks. Disease testing is also done.   

Runs a monthly eye screening session. Sponsored by the NJ Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

Provides free health care clinic services for individuals without health insurance. Also offers prescription medication assistance, eye exams, and vaccinations.
