Offers emergency assistance to seniors. Delivers food to eligible clients who cannot pick up, based on volunteer availability in their area.

Provides support, education and advocacy to families who have children with behavioral and/or emotional challenges. Programs include: Peer support, Parents Anonymous support group, Support group for parents/caregivers of youth in the Juvenile Justice System, Parenting workshops, Youth Partnership support program for youth, ages 13 through 21 and Warm Line for parents and caregivers. 

Provides emergent food, daily survival skills, education enrichment, leadership development, career/future exploration/goal setting, and trauma counseling.

Offers services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. This includes after-school programs, adult evening care, family support, recreational activities, and information and referral.

Offers meals to homebound residents who are ages 60 and older. Primarily for those who are medically homebound with minimal nutritional support.

Offers on-site sit-down meals, meals to go, delivery of meals to seniors, on-site Choice Pantry services and a food truck that visits various neighborhoods in our area to provide meals.

For Financial Donation

Providing a full spectrum of mental health services, the Outpatient Department offers Solution Focused Brief Therapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication monitoring, group therapy, and case management for adults, teens, and children. Treatment services are delivered by a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, addiction counselors, and nurses.

Provides a one-time, deferred loan of up to $14,000 to help cover down payment and closing costs for families who want to purchase their first single-family home. Aims to alleviate major impediments of buying a home, and also gives homebuyers the skills and knowledge necessary to purchase and maintain a property.

Provides multi-service programs for veterans and their families. Services include: addiction and substance abuse support, caregiver support, homeless veteran care, laboratory and pathology services, military sexual trauma support, optometry, patient advocacy, prescription services, podiatry, primary care, psychology, social work services, suicide prevention, telehealth services, and female veteran care.

Provides a full-day outpatient program with structured support and services for individuals with serious mental health needs. Aims to promote stability, recovery, and improved quality of life.

Offers assistance to ensure a safe living environment/arrangement, and prevention of premature institutionalization. Also offers assistance for long-distance care giving, care planning, counseling, and support.

A telephone/web-based information and referral service that provides elder care and service information for older adults, caregivers, professionals, and the community. Family caregivers and care receivers receive information and are connected to local resources and services that provide emotional support for caregivers. In addition, the program offers case management support for family members.

Provides nutritious meals and various social and recreational activities through social centers.

Offers coverage for cancer treatment to uninsured women through the Medicaid program. Eligible persons receive full Medicaid fee for service coverage during the time that the woman needs cancer treatment, including inpatient hospital, doctors' visits, prescriptions.   

Provides various community and care services to older adults. Services include: independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and in-home hospice care.

Provides some medical appliances on a temporary basis to individuals who cannot afford to purchase them on their own. Items include wheelchairs, walkers, canes, shower/bath seats, rollators, knee walkers, and commodes. 

Provides services that include support groups for consumers and families. This includes information on how to access mental health resources, advocating for improvements via legislation, and a 12-week family education program.  

Operates an Oral Health Center, Kinder Smile, that provides oral health screenings, educations, preventative care and connects families to additional needs such as surgery or braces.

Assists low-income households in managing energy costs and maintaining safe, affordable utility service through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Universal Service Fund (USF).

LIHEAP Overview

Assists with heating and medically necessary cooling costs during designated program periods. Provides regular seasonal benefits and may offer emergency assistance for households facing shut-off or fuel shortages. Payments are typically made directly to the utility company or fuel supplier, ensuring continuity of service. Available to both homeowners and renters who meet income and residency requirements.

USF Overview

Offers monthly credits on electric and/or gas bills to reduce ongoing energy costs. Designed for households that spend a significant portion of their income on energy. Helps prevent service interruptions and promotes long-term affordability.   

Assists older adults with emergencies. This includes: lack of heat, electricity, gas, or water; need for medical examinations or medications; transportation; security deposit or small household repairs; and air conditioning units.
