While DHP (Displaced Homemakers Program) is not an employment agency and does not provide legal advice, housing, or direct cash assistance, it offers a range of services designed to help displaced homemakers achieve financial independence and personal development.  

Provides an arthritis-friendly group exercise and fall prevention program. Uses simple, easy-to-learn movements that help motivate individuals to stay active. Classes meet for one hour three times a week in person, online, or as a hybrid schedule.

Operates a nursing facility with private and semi-private rooms for assisted living, a secured dementia unit, and the following types of care: hospice, palliative, respite, and short-long term care. The facility offers on-site clinical and therapeutic treatments for a wide variety of conditions and surgeries. Laundry service, full-time recreational activities, on-site beauty salon, multi-faith chapel, private courtyards, and a private facility bus are provided for all residents.     

Provides food assistance to people in the community. Food is not provided until after applications have been reviewed and approved.

Services include: medical exams, clinic referrals, medication management, mental health and behavioral support, case management, counseling, education, employment assistance, insurance benefit assistance, Veterans Administration (VA) registration, and public affairs and homeless outreach.

Provides a free, intensive, structured training program for treating and managing diabetes. Classes, held once per week for six weeks, focus on managing lifestyle behaviors and emotional well-being. Facilitated by trained leaders, potentially peer leaders with diabetes, the participative classes build mutual support and success, boosting participants' confidence in health management. Each participant receives the companion book "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions, 4th Edition," and an audio relaxation tape.

Provides a parent support group for families with a child with a mental health issue. There is limited childcare and transportation available. Refreshments are served.   

Assists elderly, handicapped and low-income persons in weatherizing their homes. Also improving their heating system efficiency and conserving energy.
