Allows individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to live independently in the community. Individuals in the program receive weekly instruction in areas such as: Banking, Budgeting, Travel training, Socialization. Participants in the program are required to contribute to their living expenses.  

Provides a range of therapeutic services for people with autism, acquired brain injuries, and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. Includes treatment services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, neuropsychological testing, counseling, vocational training, and life-skills instruction.   

Provides intensive care management to individuals who are pregnant or up to one year postpartum and are using or have recently used alcohol or drugs. 

Provides free groceries, basic necessities such as diapers, and occasional hot meals or personal hygiene supplies.

Provides professional development, continuing legal education (CLE), legal research resources, legislative advocacy, networking opportunities, and public legal information resources to individuals in New Jersey.

Provides emergency food assistance through scheduled pantry distributions, offering free groceries to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

Helps parents prepare young children for beginning school. Discussion topics include: building relationships and child language skills, nutrition and health education, family routine creation, and Learn on the Go support. Learning objectives take place in both community and home settings.

Assists low-income individuals to obtain divorces. Also assists in divorce cases.

Promotes and ensures the full inclusion of people with disabilities in the community. The staff directs efforts toward working with individual consumers, who face difficulties in areas of housing, employment, transportation, remaining independent in the homes, assists with completing applications for immigration, Social Security, and other financial benefit programs. Special services are also offered for underserved minorities who have disabilities.   

Provides application assistance with different financial assistance programs. Programs include: Property Tax Reimbursement (PTR), Homestead Benefit, Annual Property Tax Deduction for Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons, Annual Deduction for Veterans, and the Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans.

Diabetes Self-Management Education Classes (DSME) and training is a collaborative course through which people with diabetes gain the knowledge and skills needed to modify their behavior and successfully self-manage the disease and its related conditions. The course incorporates the needs, goals, and life experiences of the person with diabetes and is guided by evidence-based standards. DSME can be conducted on an individual and/or group basis, and is facilitated by a licensed health professional. The course covers topics such as: - Diabetes disease process & treatment options - Incorporating nutrition management, physical activity & utilizing medications - Monitoring blood glucose & using results to improve control - Preventing, detecting & treating acute & chronic complications - Goal setting and problem solving - Integrating psychosocial adjustment - Preconception care and management during pregnancy (if applicable)

Serves individuals diagnosed with serious, persistent mental illness who, due to his/her mental illness are dangerous to him/herself, others or property in the reasonably foreseeable future. Services include: Case management, Service linkage, Court system coordination, Transportation to IOC related appointments, Interaction with family members or other significant social supports, Peer support and Interim psychiatric medication.   

Offers evidence-based chronic disease self-management workshops. Provides education for individuals and caregivers managing long-term conditions such as diabetes, cancer recovery, chronic pain, and other chronic illnesses. Focuses on symptom management, medication use, nutrition, exercise, and coping skills.

Provides a 17-month academic preparation program for high-achieving, low-income high school students to prepare for admission to selective colleges and universities.

Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect and, if necessary, arranges for the child's protection and the family's treatment. Services include: child protection, case management, foster care, adoption, and family supports and services through community providers.

Provides food pantry that distributes groceries and limited emergency assistance to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.

Provides parents information and assistance in finding affordable childcare and supports providers to ensure children thrive. Information regarding providers and financial assistance to obtain childcare services are also provided.
