USF Overview
Offers monthly credits on electric and/or gas bills to reduce ongoing energy costs. Designed for households that spend a significant portion of their income on energy. Helps prevent service interruptions and promotes long-term affordability.
Delivers nutritious meals to seniors and homebound individuals in the Morristown Area who are unable to shop for or prepare food on their own. Also acts as a wellness check, upon delivery.
Provides a group program to help adult cancer survivors with their health and wellbeing following a cancer diagnosis. Services include safe physical activity, assistance with building relationships, and stress reduction.
Assists applicants with various benefits including retirement, disability, survivors, SSI, and Medicare. Applicants should apply for retirement benefits at least 3 months before retiring, and disability payments are for those with severe impairments hindering work or leading to death. Responds to situations that involve a serious threat to well-being and physical safety of a juvenile, a serious conflict manifested by disregard for parental authority, or misuse of parental authority. It also intervenes when there is an unauthorized absence by a juvenile for more than 24 hours and/or a pattern of repeated unauthorized absences from school by a juvenile. The unit is able to respond on a 24-hour basis.
