Empowers individuals with disabilities to live more independently through the Residential Services program. Offers options like group homes where certified staff aid with daily living skills, and Supervised Apartments for those with mild disabilities, providing independent living with on-site support staff.

Promotes and supports exclusive breastfeeding, conducts health and nutrition screenings for early identification or treatment of risk factors, refers participants to essential health care and social services, conducts personalized nutrition/health counseling in individual and peer/group sessions, and issues food vouchers with essential nutrients to address deficiencies or lacking in their diets.   

Provides birth, marriage, and death records from 1878 to the present. Provides three types of records: certified copies with a raised seal, suitable for identity and legal purposes; certifications lacking a seal and intended for genealogy; and an Apostille Seal, necessary for certified records presented to foreign governments or for international adoptions. Records may also be obtained from a local registrar.

Provides comprehensive primary health care services to the medically uninsured and underserved. Medical services may include pediatrics, family medicine, women's health, and HIV/AIDS testing.    

Oversees aspects of the local environment to safeguard public health. Services include: air and water pollution control, solid waste management, noise regulation, radon monitoring, and pesticide compliance. Local health departments further conduct inspections of drinking water, animal shelters, restaurants, youth camps, and Right to Know training courses.

Provides monthly food pantry groceries to community members facing food insecurity.

Provides free or low-cost healthcare that may help pay for medical bills, doctor visits, and prescriptions for low-income individuals or families.

Accepts donations of old cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, airplanes, construction equipment, farm equipment, and boats for the use of recycled materials and re-usable parts. Donors may qualify for a tax deduction.

Provides group counseling for individuals affected by domestic violence to support coping skills, emotional well-being, and healthy relationship development.

Connects pregnant individuals, parents, and caregivers of young children to free or affordable wellness resources, identifies needs, and links them with various health services. Services include: health insurance, medical care, housing, childcare, prenatal health education, WIC applications, early childhood programs, and home visiting programs.    

Provides free childcare to families in crisis or those in need of assistance with medical appointments, court appearances, mental health crises, or emergency situations. Also distributes diapers and new mom welcome baskets.

Offers workshops, consultation, and supportive services to parents, schools, and other agencies relating to issues concerning children with disabilities. Training and education are offered in three categories: professional development, workshops and seminars, and internships and field placements. 

Offers support for adults with diabetes and their families. Other services may include evaluation of nutrition intake, medication management, and strategies for improving quality of life and preventing complications.

Offers to create a safety net for those families and individuals who exhausted their five-year time limit on welfare (Work First New Jersey [WFNJ]). For those that do not meet the criteria for an exemption to the time limit.

Provides a variety of outpatient services, including minor surgery, diagnostic testing and pathology, radiology, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and dietetic counseling. Additional clinic services are provided including dermatology, neurology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, pediatrics, urology, wound care, and sleep disorder evaluation.

Promotes youth volunteerism by pairing teenagers with adult volunteers to assist local organizations in the community. Service opportunities include meal preparation, visiting nursing homes, and other community services.
