Provides a food rescue program that collects prepared and perishable food that would otherwise be wasted, and delivers it to organizations that serve those in need. Donations  include: pastas, fresh or frozen meats and side dishes, produce, dairy products, prepared meals, beverages, and baked goods.

Collects food for Chatham Community Food Pantry.  Also collects donations of baby formula, clothing, and items for babies up to 1 1/2 years for the North Porch program in Newark. Donations can be made anytime including Parish Hours.

Coordinating bulk food collection and distribution, the EFNN supports 75 parish-based food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in the Archdiocese of Newark. Additionally, it administers federal emergency funds for pantries in specific counties and organizes programs like Catholic Relief Services' Operation Rice Bowl Lenten program for member food pantries and soup kitchens.
