Offers respite grants of up to $500, for full-time, unpaid care partners to attend to their own emotional, psychological and physical well-being. Types of respite care funded by the grant can include but not limited to, in-home care services, adult day services, short-term overnight care at home or at a nursing facility.

The Help at Home/Companion Program provides trained companions, or provides the family or individual with funds to hire their own companions.

Provides individualized support services for individuals with disabilities in their homes. Assists with daily living skills, community integration, and maintaining independence.

Provides information, referral, and navigation assistance that helps individuals access the New Jersey Personal Preference Program (PPP), a Medicaid-funded, self-directed personal care program; supports individuals and caregivers in understanding eligibility, completing assessments, and connecting to services that allow participants to manage their own care, hire caregivers of choice, and remain safely in the community.

Provides family caregivers with information and education about the importance of regular time-off from caregiving, and helps link them to available community-based respite care resources. Financial assistance is also available to family caregivers of dementia patients in order to help them obtain respite care services.
