Eligibility

Women, men, who are uninsured or under-insured, limited income.
  • Breast and Cervical Screenings: Women ages 40 or older with emphasis on those 50 and over or are under 40 with abnormal symptoms. Men with abnormal breast symptoms are eligible.
  • Prostate Screenings: Men who are 50 or older or African American/High Risk Men 40 and older or men with with abnormal symptoms.
  • Colorectal screenings in conjunction with breast/cervical/prostate screening, 50 or older, or with abnormal symptoms or family history of colon cancer.

Application process

Application/Intake done over the phone or email. Person can leave their name and phone number (and e-mail address if they have one) on the answering machine and the call will be returned within 48 business hours.

Fees

None for screening for those who meet eligibility and use participating providers.

Provides free cancer screening for eligible high-risk individuals who are uninsured or underinsured. Exams includes; Breast exam, referral for free mammogram at participating provider, pelvic exam, pap smear, digital rectal exam, and blood test for prostate cancer screening.
