Eligibility
SNAP or TANF recipients: Child is enrolled in a school that participates in the National School Lunch or Breakfast Program OR child is ages 6–16 and not enrolled in a participating school. Medicaid recipients with qualifying income: Child is enrolled in a school that participates in the National School Lunch or Breakfast Program OR child is ages 6–16 and not enrolled in a participating school. Special circumstances: Child is migrant, homeless, a runaway, in foster care, or attends a Head Start program administered by the school district and is enrolled in a participating school. Approved school meal application: Household applied for and was approved for federal free or reduced-price school meals through the School Meals and Summer EBT application.

Completed application form, child and household details, income proof, adult income info, school and grade info, benefit documentation (if applicable), and current mailing address.

Application process
Children enrolled in NSLP/SBP-participating schools who do not already have an individual eligibility determination on file will need to submit a School Meals and Summer EBT application to their local school district and be determined eligible in order to receive the Summer EBT benefit.
