Supports men and women who meet to share their experiences, strength and hope in their quest to overcome addiction to food and compulsive overeating. Unlike conventional weight-loss programs, there are no dues or fees, and no special foods for sale. There are no scales in meeting rooms, and the amount of weight loss by an individual is not a measure of success in the program. The only requirement for OA membership is a desire to stop eating compulsively.
