Eligibility

Open to County residents who:

Are NOT receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), General Assistance (GA), or Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

Have not received any of the above benefits for more than 4 consecutive months within the last calendar year

Have a household income, including employment, unemployment benefits, social security, or pension

Are at imminent risk of homelessness due to short-term issues

Required documents

Current utility bills, eviction notice, ID, proof of family size, proof of household income, utility disconnection notice.

Application process

Please call to schedule an appointment for intake. All applicants must complete a Homeless Management Information System (NJHMIS) Client Consent Single Intake form for each household member.
