Eligibility
The program assists low income individuals and families who reside in Essex County and whose total household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
Required documents
Application/registration forms, birth certificate, current utility bills, ID, income tax return, Proof of benefits (i.e. EBT, TANF, GA), proof of home ownership/rental lease, proof of household income, proof of paid property taxes, rental/lease agreement, Social Security card/number

Application process
A copy of the application can be obtained by contacting the Application Agency or a copy is available for downloading from the internet. Completed applications should be returned to the Application Agency. Please call the application agency to schedule an appointment.
