Provides supportive services for families with children under age 24 who are facing housing instability, service‑access barriers, or financial challenges. Assists households with maintaining housing, obtaining appropriate services for children, addressing employment barriers related to criminal records or suspended driver’s licenses, and resolving consumer‑debt concerns to promote stability and self‑sufficiency.

Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ)

Offers free legal services to low-income people in New Jersey on the following civil (non-criminal) legal issues: eviction defense, consumer debt defense, bankruptcy, criminal record expungement, driver's license restoration, denial of education services public schools, and estate planning. Also provides civil legal assistance to survivors of human trafficking, veterans, and families in Newark's South Ward and regularly hosts legal clinics, know-your-rights seminars, online classes, and more.
