Eligibility
Must be age 18 or older to apply. Assistance will cover up to 5 pets per household. Applicants must also agree to the following:
- Must not be keeping pets for the purpose of breeding or selling
- Must agree not to take on any additional animals while receiving assistance
- In most cases, pets must be spayed or neutered, either prior to or immediately following assistance
- Must provide proof of need, including at least one of the following:
- Medicaid
- Food stamps
- Energy assistance
- Housing assistance
- Permanent disability
- No residence (residing at a shelter)
- Unemployment
- Disaster assistance
- Other situation, at Kibble Cupboard's discretion
- Proof of Spayed or Neutered
