Eligibility
Eligible Applicants Must:
- Be a US citizen.
- Be retired, honorably discharged, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserve.
- Have completed Basic Training and follow-on training (Advanced Individual Training, technical school, etc).
- Separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below.
- Demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
- Participate in, be accepted to or currently enrolled in a VA-approved program or school at an accredited post-secondary institution.

Application process
Apply online; applications are accepted January 1st - April 30th for Fall semester and 1st - November 15th for spring semester.

Awards military service members and veterans a scholarship of up to $5,000 for tuition and educational costs. Scholarships are given for both fall and spring semesters and are limited to one per family, per semester. All scholarship assistance is paid directly to the service's members accredited school.
