Eligibility

Morris County residents who are: Over 18 years of age, Live in a home (not a licensed facility), Perceived to be a subject of abuse, neglect or exploitation, and are lacking sufficient understanding or capacity to make decisions.

Provides adult protective services for vulnerable individuals who are victims of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and/or unsafe living conditions. Reports/complaints are taken and assessed over the phone. If deemed appropriate, an experienced social worker will go to the home and evaluate the situation in person.
