  • Over 18 years of age, AND
  • Live in a home (not a licensed facility), AND
  • Perceived to be a subject of abuse, neglect or exploitation, AND
  • Lacking sufficient understanding or capacity to make decisions

Provides adult protective services for vulnerable individuals who are victims of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and/or unsafe living conditions. Reports/complaints are taken and assessed over the phone. If deemed appropriate, an experienced social worker will go to the home and evaluate the situation in person.
