Operates a confidential hotline to assist individuals with a substance abuse disorder, particularly regarding heroin or prescription painkillers. Counselors assess personal situations, provide guidance, and facilitate discussions. Helps individuals create personalized relapse prevention plans, address triggers and cravings, and provides information on addiction treatment. Staff also conduct follow-up calls to ensure an individuals well-being.
