Assisting the lives of children aged 5-12 at Broad St. Center, the summer recreational/educational camp program (REC) offers activities such as swimming, computer activities, arts, crafts, sports, STEM elements, life skills, excursions, and special events. The program, featuring extended hours, subsidized slots, and a counselor-in-training (CIT) program for 14-15-year-olds, presents a two-year training opportunity for former campers to become counselors. CITs receive compensation in the second year, with the potential for a fully paid staff position after completion.
