Provides free private and confidential guidance to individuals who seek business start-up advice. The volunteer service corps of retired executives counsels small business entrepreneurs at counseling sites or at their own site. In addition, SCORE provides volunteer mentors who share their expertise across 62 industries, free confidential business mentoring in person, via email, or by video, free business tools, templates, inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7).
