Assists first-time homebuyers in Bergen County with an interest-free loan and matching down payment aid. The loan can cover up to $40,000 of the primary mortgage, and the down payment assistance is up to $10,000. The no-interest loan becomes a second mortgage with no monthly payments or fees until the property is sold or titled differently.
