Open to individuals in service area. Volunteers must be able to attend the training session and to visit the class twice a month during the school year

Pairs specially trained volunteers with at-risk third and fourth grade children in the classroom in the fight against childhood obesity. By encouraging physical activity and modeling healthy eating, the program helps children adopt healthy behaviors.

Serves and addresses homelessness; neglect, abuse and exploitation; health and respite care; financial instability due to physical, developmental or mental disabilities; childhood literacy and obesity; Medicare counseling; and long-term care assistance.
