Eligibility

Open to all Atlantic County residents who are 60 years of age or older, have a disability, are a veteran traveling to/from qualified medical centers, residents of the FTA defined rural western areas of the county, and/or qualified residents, traveling to/from employment, educational, or job training opportunities are all eligible to receive transportation from the A.C.T.U. However, Atlantic County may not duplicate services that are available and provided by other service providers. Therefore, residents living in institutional or assisted living facilities, or that qualify for service(s) from another transportation provider, may not be eligible for all of Atlantic County’s transportation services.

Reservations are required and accepted up to 7 days in advance.

Provides necessary services, on a first come, first served basis, to the maximum number of county residents, in conjunction with all other service providers in the region. Services are available and provided to Qualified Residents, weekdays, between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm, for both Life Essential and Life Enhancing Services.

Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services
Addresses the needs of youth, families, disabled and senior citizens. Trained staff are available to provide such services as information and referral, outreach, case management and juvenile/family crisis intervention to eligible individuals.
