Open to Somerset County residents, ages 60 years or older, who are homebound and unable to prepare meals, and have no support system to make meals.

Application process

Please call for more information and/or to apply for services. An Eldercare Specialist will perform an in-home assessment to determine eligibility and length of service.

Fees

None, but a small donation is suggested.

Description

Provides prepared meals to homebound individuals, ages 60 and older, who are temporarily or permanently unable to prepare meals. Every visit comes with a nutritious meal created to address the specific health conditions of the senior.

Assesses needs of older persons and plans programs and services to meet those needs. Offers information and referral services, outreach, senior centers and home-delivered meals, wellness and care coordination, legal counseling and eldercare services.
