Application process

File an application for child support and paternity services at the Mercer County Board of Social Services or by mail. Application can be downloaded online, but must be signed at the office. Call the Child Support Customer Service Center for more information about the application process.

Fees

One-time processing charge of $6.00 for Non-WFNJ/TANF families.

Assists custodial parents in locating an absent parent, establishing paternity, obtaining and enforcing court orders for child support payments. Also helps with the establishment and enforcement of out-of-state child support orders.
