Eligibility

Open to senior citizens, ages 60 years of age or older, veterans, and individuals under 60 with a temporary or permanently disability in the service area. All vehicles are handicapped accessible.

Application process

Applicants under 60 must complete a Disabled Application form, have it certified by their physician, and be approved for the service. In addition, all applicants are asked to make an appointment two days to two weeks in advance in order to reserve a ride.A referral may be required for some employment transportation services. Call for more information.

Fees

A $2.00 fee is strongly encouraged, per ride. Tipping is not permitted.

Description

Offers transportation services for seniors citizens, along with temporarily and permanently disabled individuals, and veterans. Provides set routes and special transportation appointments to various destinations including employment and education sites, shopping services, medical offices/centers, hospitals, nutrition sites, personal business sites, and veteran services. Door-to-door transportation is available for all medical transportation needs.
