Description
Provides assistance and information regarding health insurance programs. Administers state Medicaid and Medicaid related programs, helps provide equitable access to quality health care, provides assistance with questions or problems regarding Medicaid, and provides NJ Family Care and Medicaid cards for SSI recipients.

Provides health coverage to children, pregnant women, parents/caretaker relatives, single adults, childless couples, the aged, blind, disabled, and individuals qualified for long-term care services. Also provides comprehensive health coverage and a wide-range of services including: doctor visits, hospital services, prescriptions, tests, vision care, mental health care, dental, nursing home care and other healthcare services, depending on the person's eligibility category.
