Eligibility

Older adults age 60 or older who:
  • require a nursing facility level of care but wish to remain at home, AND
  • are not financially eligible for Medicaid or Medicaid Waiver Services, AND
  • have resources at or below $40,000 for an individual, or $60,000 for a couple, AND
  • reside in a home or an apartment that is not a licensed residence.

Provides in‑home services to help seniors remain in their homes and avoid nursing facility placement. JACC supplements support from an individual’s natural care network, and eligible participants may hire qualified family, friends, or neighbors to provide their care.

Providing organization

Atlantic County Division of Intergenerational Services
Addresses the needs of youth, families, disabled and senior citizens. Trained staff are available to provide such services as information and referral, outreach, case management and juvenile/family crisis intervention to eligible individuals.
