Provides in‑person assistance with federal tax matters at the taxpayer assistance center in Parsippany. Support includes account inquiries and adjustments, payment arrangements and payments, procedural and tax issue resolution, basic tax law guidance, assistance with select forms, individual taxpayer identification number applications, multilingual assistance, and help with specialized requests, such as taxpayer assistance orders and business use tax filings. Tax return preparation is not provided; individuals are referred to free filing and volunteer tax assistance resources.
