Single women, men and families, particularly those that can no longer continue to live in their current situation due to domestic violence or threat of domestic violence by their partner, roommate or family member.

Providing temporary shelter and support services, the organization assists single women, men, and families facing domestic violence situations by offering advocacy, counseling, communal living, educational, financial, and housing support to aid in their journey towards independence.

Coalition Against Rape and Abuse (CARA)
Provides the Cape May County community with the following services: 24 hour crisis response for domestic violence and sexual assault, counseling, emergency shelter, emergency food, emergency clothing, court transportation, information and referral, and support groups for both men and women.
