Providing professional counseling for grief and traumatic loss:
  • Offers high-quality counseling to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families affected by trauma, crime, natural disasters, domestic violence, or the loss of a loved one.
  • Delivers individual, group, and family counseling, along with support services.
  • Coordinates community-based services through the Camden and Gloucester County Traumatic Loss Coalitions.
  • Activates critical incident response teams for each county, managed by the CFS Traumatic Loss Coordinator.
  • Implements the short-term trauma-specific intervention program, SITCAP, for children aged 3 to 18, focusing on coping strategies over 8-10 weeks.
  • Operates the Peter M. Musumeci, Jr. and Linda M. Musumeci Family Sanctuary, providing outpatient counseling and support for trauma and loss victims in a safe and compassionate environment.
